Mordecai Morgan’s Scabbard and Baldric are now completed. His Baldric has been fitted with a holster to accommodate his pistol. Elizabeth Scott’s Baldric has been enhanced with a Dagger

Daniel Johnson the Terror has made a Leather Case for his new Flintlock Pistol. Pirates were expected to look after and maintain their weapons, their lives depended on it.

A Scabbard and Baldric for a crew member’s Armour Class Cutlass. Still need his Pistol for a holster at the front and another crew member’s Dagger for a modification to her Baldric, and then the job’s completed.

We’ll have a better photo of our New 3×3 metre Gold Popup Canopy once it’s been erected.

A new Leather Carrying Case for our Queen Anne Black Powder Flintlock Pistol.

A while ago our Mermaid asked if she could have 2 Jewelled Leather Wristbands made. The first was designed and produced immediately, and now the 2nd has just been completed.

Sharkeye’s Pirates aaarr featured in Issue 17 of the Pirate Plunder Magazine.

Seems we now have our very own Patron Saint. Apparently St Barbara is the Patron Saint of Gunners.

Our New Group T-Shirts being worn by 3 Crew Members

2 New Pirate Skull Displays featuring Adjustable Leather Eye-Patches and Key Rings for sale at future Festivals and Events that we attend.

These barrels are turned from blocks of solid steel, then bored out, with touch holes and trunnions added later. Unlike cast iron barrels they don’t require steel liners. The barrels have been blued, Government Proofed, mounted on seasoned Oak Naval Gun Carriages then registered with the Cheshire Police and are owned by a Crew Member.

Designed by one o the Crew, then professionally printed onto 8 top quality T-Shirts for a number of Sharkeye’s Pirates Crew Members.

One o the crew recently equipped himself with a new Armour Class Cutlass and a Replica Pistol. So now he’s also acquiring a Leather Scabbard, Baldric and Holster.

By popular request from the crew we’ve renamed our Swivel Gun “Fortunatus” in memory of Dave Rothwell our well loved comrade. His Pirate name is displayed on 3 Brass Plaques, one secured to each leg of the tripod.

Both Pirates and Mermaids enjoyed taking part in the Northwich River Festival and declared it to be a happy exhilarating experience.

Our very first Event at the Pirate Artisan Market held in Colwyn Bay was a resounding success. Meeting old friends and making new ones.

Test Firing our New Cannons, Swivel Gun and Brown Bess Musket at the Weaver Industrial Estate, Garston, and overseen by Firearms Officers from the Merseyside Police.

When a Cannon is fired for a micro-second there’s a flash of flame emanates from the muzzle. It’s so fast you don’t see it and the video sometimes completely misses it. Then occasionally when you view the video single frame you get lucky and it’s there, as in the last 3 photos.

4 Crew Members undergo Cannon Training.
